SANE
SANE’s objectives are to raise awareness, improve education and secure better services for people with mental illness; to undertake research into the causes of and treatments for serious mental illness at The Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE Research; and to provide information and emotional support to those experiencing mental health problems, their families and carers through SANELINE. Staffed by trained mental health workers SANELINE is open from 1pm until 11pm, 365 days a year.
SIRI
SIRI was established in response to the significant gap in meeting the needs of African and Caribbean people to include refugees and asylum seekers’ integration and settlement. SIRI was developed with the aim of providing a more responsive way of working with African and Caribbean people suffering from (mental health) psychological and emotional difficulties, which takes into consideration their cultural and religious beliefs. SIRI provides a community oriented HOLISTIC MODEL OF COUNSELLING that focuses on the COMPLETE INDIVIDUAL, not simply their presenting mental health problems but also on practical and social support issues

Together (formerly Maca – the Mental After Care Association) is a leading national charity supporting people who experience mental distress to get what they want from life and to feel happier. We do this by running a range of services across the country; campaigning and doing research and educating local communities about their own mental health needs.
Turning Point
Turning Point is the UK’s leading social care organisation, providing services for people with complex needs, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health problems and those with a learning disability. The organisation provides services in 200 locations and work with almost 100,000 people each year.
UK Federation of Smaller Mental Health Agencies (“Small Voices”)
The Federation is a membership-based charity set up in 1996 to support locally based and independent groups who develop and provide mental health services in their community. At our peak we numbered more than 250 member groups, representing 157,000 service users. Following the loss of funding we are now concentrating, using email, web site and message board, on one main objective -To promote and organise co-operation and information exchange between representatives of voluntary agencies, Government and other statutory authorities.
UKAN
UKAN promotes service user empowerment by representing issues from a user perspective in a number of national forums. It encourages the development of Patients Councils, User Forums and Advocacy Projects and offers information, training and support to both groups and individuals working towards mental health service user led approaches in any service. At the heart of UKAN is the belief that advocacy should be independent and led by people who have direct experience of using mental health services.
United Response
UR supports people with learning disabilities or mental health needs to have the things they want and need in their lives. The organisation supports around 400 people with mental health needs to take control of their lives.

Factnet helps survivors heal abuse caused by Religions or Cults. It deals with all areas of financial, sexual, physical, psychological, theological or indoctrinational abuse found in any religion or cult.
We provide survivor recovery resources and survivor peer to peer healing.
We hold that through by fully making both the abuse and the abuser transparent the abuse recovery process can be faster and far more effective. This is because others can also learn, heal or be inoculated by this transparent openness.
